Refunds

If Pro is not what you wanted, ask and you get your money back. Who to ask depends on where you bought it, and that is the only complicated part of this page.

Bought through the App Store

Apple took the payment, so Apple gives the refund. We cannot issue one for an App Store purchase, which is Apple's rule and not ours.

Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and pick the Cuadrito purchase. Apple decides these and usually answers within a few days. If they turn you down and you think that is wrong, write to us anyway and we will see what we can do.

Bought on the web

Write to us within 14 days of paying and you get a full refund, no reason needed. Your Pro access ends when the refund goes through.

After 14 days, ask anyway. A yearly plan you have barely used, a renewal you did not mean to let happen, a second charge by mistake: those get refunded. What does not is a full year used to the end and then asked for back.

Stripe handles the payment and can also issue a refund directly within 60 days of the charge, including where local cooling-off rules require one. Where you live may give you more than the 14 days above, and where it does, you keep the longer one.

Cancelling is not the same as a refund

Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves Pro standing until the end of the year you paid for. It does not return the money for that year. If you want the money back as well, ask for a refund, and doing both at once is fine.

How to ask

Use the report link on the app's front page and leave an email so there is somewhere to answer. Say which of the two above you bought and roughly when. You do not need an order number, though it is quicker if you have the receipt to hand.

One person reads these, so expect a few days rather than a few minutes.

Before asking for a chargeback

Ask us first. A chargeback takes months, withdraws your Pro access while it runs, and costs a small operation more than the refund would have. We would rather just refund you.
